ANC Transloading Inc. seeks a safety-focused Chip Loader to support chip yard operations at our pulp and paper mill in Whitecourt, Alberta. This role unloads chip deliveries, manages piles, and ensures a steady supply of fibre to mill operations.

The position operates on a continental schedule with rotations days and nights, requiring outdoor work and strict safety practices. Experience with heavy equipment is preferred; candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment.
• Experience in an industrial environment is an asset.
• Ability to work outdoors and around heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Unload and move wood chips using heavy equipment.
• Manage chip piles and ensure efficient chip yard operations.
• Load fines and materials onto outbound trucks.
• Monitor chip quality and report contamination.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report mechanical concerns.
• Maintain safe working conditions and follow safety procedures.
• Assist with yard housekeeping and snow removal.
