Job description

Chipper Supervisor – Raleigh Falls Timber Harvesting

Raleigh Falls Timber is currently hiring one Full Time Chipper Supervisor for our Dryden Operations.

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the chipper supervisor is part of our RFT Harvesting team and responsible for completing the tasks assigned in a safe and timely manner.

We are seeking an individual looking for a career, not just a job, with significant opportunities for training, professional development, and promotion from within.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records including machine maintenance, repairs and production
  • Scheduling and managing crew members
  • Support a safe and positive work culture and implement company safe practices
  • Measure and monitor all repairs and preventative maintenance on machines assigned to the area
  • Work within and support the Environmental Management System
Qualifications and Skills
  • Knowledge of Heavy Equipment (Forestry) and Maintenance
  • Knowledge and experience in Field Chipping
  • Previous supervisor experience would be considered an asset, but isn’t necessary

  • Physically demanding jobs include walking, lifting, pushing and pulling

Wages: $90,000.00 to $105,000.00 based on knowledge and experience
