City of Laval seeks a mechanical engineer to lead studies and analyses for ventilation, heating, plumbing, air conditioning, and refrigeration in city buildings. You will coordinate the technical and administrative link between the project owner and service management, and share area-specific information with applicants.
The ideal candidate has a mechanical engineering degree, six years of relevant experience, and knowledge of energy conservation, LEED buildings, and energy-saving systems.
SALARY: Class 11 – from $95,439.65 to $125,540.32 / year
SCHEDULE: 33.75 hours per week, DAY; MONDAY to FRIDAY - 08:30 to 16:30
WORK MODE: Hybrid
You perform and coordinate studies and analyses of projects related to ventilation, heating, plumbing, air conditioning, and refrigeration of the City’s buildings. Additionally, in the context of certain works, you are responsible for sealing the plans and specifications in accordance with the provisions, laws, and regulations of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
You collaborate in the implementation and execution of works carried out under contract, in management, and in administration. To this end, you coordinate and ensure the technical and administrative link between the project owner and the Service management. You provide applicants with all relevant information regarding your area of expertise.
