YWCA Hamilton in Hamilton, ON is seeking a Youth Programs Assistant for before- and after-school programs, supporting recreation activities for children aged 4 to 12 while applying the YWCA mission and ensuring safety. This 15-hour/week role runs Monday to Friday, 2:30–5:30 pm, temporary through June 29, 2027, with start date TBD.
Ideal candidates have 2-year college training in relevant fields and 1–2 years’ experience; bilingual abilities are an asset.

Ensures the efficient daily operation and activity in before and after school programs, camps and recreation programs and activities, working collaboratively with the Recreational Specialist. Plans and implements quality programs for children 4 to 12 years, in keeping with the YWCA mission, vision and values while adhering to the YWCA policies and procedures and quality standards, as well as the regulations of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, and Sport and Child Care and Early Years Act.
