Job summary

The YMCA in Winnipeg is seeking a Child Care Supervisor for the Preschool Program. This full-time role involves supervising staff, overseeing daily operations, and developing engaging preschool activities that support children’s growth and wellbeing.

Applicants should have Manitoba ECE Level 2 or 3, prior leadership experience, and CPR/First Aid certification. The YMCA emphasizes inclusive practice, safety checks, and strong family relationships.

Qualifications

• Manitoba Early Childhood Educator Level 2 or 3 required.
• Experience supervising staff.
• Experience working with infant or preschool children.
• Proven leadership and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform administration duties and document writing.
• Emergency First Aid and CPR C certification.
• Clear Police Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search and Child Abuse Registry Check.
