As Program Supervisor, you are responsible for the overall leadership and daily operation of a licensed childcare centre, ensuring high-quality, inclusive programming that supports children, families, and educators. You will guide a team in delivering play-based, inquiry-driven learning aligned with Ontario’s early years frameworks, including How Does Learning Happen? and Early Learning for Every Child Today (ELECT), while ensuring full compliance with the Child Care and Early Years Act and all applicable health, safety, and licensing requirements. This role combines pedagogical leadership, team development, and operational oversight. You will create a culture of collaboration, professionalism, and continuous learning, supporting educators to thrive while ensuring children experience a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment.
This posting reflects a current opportunity within our team. This position reports to the Manager, Assistant Manager and Coordinator of Group Care Programs, and is based at Children's Village at our brand-new Elizabeth Biggars Early Learning Centre (1149 Gladstone Avenue, Ottawa, Ontario, K1Y 3H7).
The selected candidate must hold a valid Standard First Aid & CPR ‘C’ certification and a current and satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check prior to employment.
