Job summary

The YMCA of Three Rivers - Waterloo Region is seeking a dedicated Child Care Cook to support a vibrant early years program in Waterloo Region. You will purchase, prepare and serve nutritious snacks and meals for children 0-12, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and licensing requirements.

You will be part of a team in a fast-paced setting, using strong time management and attention to detail while maintaining food safety and allergy considerations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C before start date.
• Food Handlers Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Purchase, prepare and serve nutritious, well-balanced snacks and meals for children aged 0-12.
• Ensure compliance with Public Health regulations, Child Care and Early Years Act, and YMCA Best Practices.
• Maintain attention to detail and efficient time management in a fast-paced environment.
