We are looking for a dedicated, compassionate Cook to join our EDNW Early Learning and Childcare Centre. With a consistent 5-hour daily schedule, you will become a familiar, comforting face in our centre. Your role focuses on two vital areas: nourishing our children and empowering our community .
Your daily impact will include:
Creating Healthy Beginnings: You will plan and prepare two nutritious snacks and a lunch every day, ensuring they are appetizing, well-balanced, and attractive to young eyes.
Inclusive Nourishment: You will be the champion for children with food allergies, thoughtfully preparing alternate meals so every child feels included and safe.
Sustainable Kitchen Management: You will handle the "behind-the-scenes" magic—shopping for weekly supplies, managing a budget, and keeping our kitchen as the clean, orderly heart of the home.
Celebrating Together: You’ll occasionally showcase your skills for special events like family dances, picnics, or fundraising dinners.

Certifications: You must have (or be willing to obtain) Food Safety Certification and Standard Childcare First Aid/CPR .
Safety Checks: A Criminal Record Check and Child Intervention Record Check are required to ensure the safety of our little ones.
Education: A Childcare Staff Qualification (Level 1) is a wonderful asset.
Reliability: Our children count on you, so being dependable and organized is a must.
