Job summary

BrightPath Kids is seeking a Centre Manager in Sage Hill, AB to oversee centre operations, supervise staff, and ensure provincial licensing compliance. The role includes payroll and financial oversight, training, and clear communication with families.

Qualifications

• B.Ed. with a focus on Early Childhood or ECE Level 3 Certification is required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of licensing and accreditation regulations.
• Demonstrated knowledge of financial management.
• Must meet province requirements for childcare employment.
• Up to date immunization and Health Assessment as per local requirements.
• CPR/First Aid Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall operation of the centre including recruitment and development of staff, management of policies and procedures, child safety, environmental health/hygiene, and province licensing.
• Ensure staff understand objectives and expectations within each classroom.
• Manage payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and general communications.
• Understand and enforce all province regulations within the building.
• Implement and ensure completion of staff training.
• Provide effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.
• All other duties as assigned.

What will you be doing?

• Managing the overall operation of the centre including recruitment and development of staff, management of policies and procedures, child safety, environmental health/hygiene, and province licensing.
• Ensuring that all staff members understand the objectives and expectations within each classroom.
• Managing administrative tasks such as processing payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general communications.
• Understanding and enforcing all province regulations within the building.
• Implementing and ensuring completion of training for all staff members.
• Providing effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.
• All other duties as assigned.
