BrightPath Kids Inc. Vaughan centre is seeking an experienced Centre Manager to lead daily operations, oversee staff development, and ensure compliance with Ontario licensing and health requirements.

You will manage payroll and communications, while maintaining family engagement and service quality. The role requires an RECE in good standing, knowledge of licensing, health and safety regulations, and a commitment to professional development.

Qualifications

• RECE in good standing with the Ontario College of ECE.
• Demonstrated knowledge of licensing and regulations.
• Demonstrated knowledge of financial management.
• Must meet province requirements for childcare employment.
• Up to date immunization and Health Assessment as per local health requirements.
• CPR/First Aid certification is required.

Responsabilités

• Manage the overall operation of the centre including recruitment and development of staff, management of policies and procedures, child safety, environmental health/hygiene, and provincial licensing.
• Ensure staff understand objectives and expectations within each classroom.
• Handle payroll, accounts payable/receivable and general communications.
• Ensure compliance with provincial regulations within the building.
• Implement and monitor staff training.
• Communicate effectively with families about their child.
• Other duties as assigned.

What will you be doing?

• Managing the overall operation of the centre including recruitment and development of staff, management of policies and procedures, child safety, environmental health/hygiene, and province licensing.
• Ensuring that all staff members understand the objectives and expectations within each classroom.
• Managing administrative tasks such as processing payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general communications.
• Understanding and enforcing all province regulations within the building.
• Implementing and ensuring completion of training for all staff members.
• Providing effective communication with families about their child.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE), must be a member in good standing with the Ontario College of ECE
• Demonstrated knowledge of licensing and regulations
• Demonstrated knowledge of financial management

• Up to date immunization and Health Assessment as per the local Ministry of Health Requirements
• CPR/First Aid Certificate
