BrightPath Kids in Okotoks, AB is seeking a Cook to prepare nutritious meals for children and manage daily kitchen tasks. You will organize bulk food orders, follow weekly recipes, and ensure safety and cleanliness in the kitchen to meet Public Health standards.

Qualificações

• Must meet provincial childcare employment requirements.
• Current Standard First Aid and Infant/Child CPR or equivalent.
• Food handling certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch and snacks for children.
• Organize orders for bulk food and weekly/daily shopping as needed.
• Prepare meals from a set weekly menu with provided recipes.
• Ensure kitchen safety and sanitation per Public Health requirements.
• Accommodate dietary restrictions for individual children.
• Wash dishes and maintain a clean kitchen area.

What will you be doing?

As a Cook, you will prepare nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and snacks for the children in our care. Responsibilities include:

• Organizing orders for bulk food weekly and daily shopping as needed.
• Preparing meals from a set menu with recipes provided weekly.
• Ensuring safety and sanitization in the kitchen environment as per Public Health requirements.
• Understanding dietary restrictions in centre for individual children.
• Washing dishes after meals.
• Other duties as assigned.
