Qualifications

• Must have Food Handling Certification and meet province childcare requirements.
• Standard First Aid and Infant CPR certification required.
• Ability to manage time and plan bulk meal prep for children.

Responsabilités

• Organize weekly bulk food orders and daily shopping as needed.
• Prepare meals from a weekly set menu for breakfast, lunch and snacks.
• Ensure kitchen safety and sanitation per Public Health requirements.
• Accommodate dietary restrictions for individual children.
• Waste no time washing dishes and maintaining cleanliness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What will you be doing?

As a Cook, you will prepare nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and snacks for the children in our care. Responsibilities include:

• Organizing orders for bulk food weekly and daily shopping as needed.
• Preparing meals from a set menu with recipes provided weekly.
• Ensuring safety and sanitization in the kitchen environment as per Public Health requirements.
• Understanding dietary restrictions in centre for individual children.
• Washing dishes after meals.
• Other duties as assigned.
