Job summary

Saskatchewan Ltd. in Moose Jaw is seeking dynamic individuals to join our team as Child and Caregiver Support Workers in permanent roles serving the Moose Jaw office and surrounding area.

You will provide protective, preventative, and support services to children and families using the P.R.I.D.E. model and the Family Centered Case Management Model of practice. You will collaborate with clients, families, and community partners to strengthen families and communities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain open, honest working relationships with clients, foster families, collateral agencies, and colleagues within the unit and community.
• Identify and prioritize referrals for service, develop intervention plans, consult with professionals as needed, and document per professional standards.
• Apply knowledge of multicultural beliefs and values, with emphasis on First Nations and Métis perspectives.
• Apply understanding of poverty, systemic barriers, and socio‑economic issues and their impact on families and individuals.
• Advocate on behalf of clients to ensure access to services and resources, remove barriers to independence, and promote wellbeing.

In this position, you will provide a range of services designed to provide protective, preventative, and support services to children and their families using the P.R.I.D.E. model and the Family Centered Case Management Model of practice.

You will also:

• Develop and maintain open, honest working relationships and encourage teamwork with clients, foster families, biological families, collateral agencies, and colleagues within the unit and community.
• Identify, and prioritize referrals for service, develop appropriate intervention plans, consult with professionals as needed, and complete documentation in accordance with professional practice standards.
• Apply knowledge of multicultural beliefs and values, with particular emphasis on First Nations and Métis perspectives.
