Job summary

CBC Saskatchewan is seeking a senior editor to lead its Saskatoon and Regina news operation. You will direct daily, enterprise, and investigative coverage across video, digital and radio/TV platforms, shaping editorial strategy and storytelling with senior production leadership.

You will ensure rigorous standards, guide policy decisions, and foster diverse voices while mentoring staff and strengthening audience engagement across communities in Saskatchewan.

Qualifications

• Seven years of journalism experience or more.

Responsibilities

• Lead CBC Saskatchewan’s news operation across Saskatoon and Regina.
• Oversee daily, enterprise and investigative news gathering, digital and social publishing, and radio and television news programming.
• Work with the executive producer to steer journalism and storytelling across video, digital and audio platforms.
• Oversee daily news coverage decisions and provide journalistic policy and judgment leadership.
• Ensure content adheres to CBC’s Journalistic Standards and Practices and principles of accuracy, fairness, balance, impartiality and integrity.
