United Way Winnipeg (UWW) is seeking a strategic, creative Vice-President, Generosity to lead fundraising and donor engagement, guiding the Campaign for the Community Fund and major donor involvement. Reporting to the President & CEO and serving on the Strategic Leadership Team, the VP will design the donor journey and strengthen participation, retention, and sustainable revenue.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in fundraising, philanthropy, development, or revenue generation.
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a collaborative, high-performing culture.
• Creativity and innovation in engagement strategies that drive participation.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic plans using data and donor insights.
• Exceptional relationship-building across corporate, labour, nonprofit sectors.
• Experience guiding organizational transformation during change.
• Commitment to community impact and values-based leadership.

Responsabilités

• Develop and lead a comprehensive fundraising strategy that strengthens growth and donor engagement.
• Design and deliver a cohesive donor experience reflecting United Way Winnipeg's values.
• Oversee the annual Campaign for the Community Fund with clear performance measures.
• Identify trends in philanthropy and adapt strategies to changes in the landscape.
• Champion donor-centered philanthropy across campaigns, events, and stewardship activities.
• Build lasting relationships with donors, corporate partners, and community leaders.
• Foster partnerships with Campaign Chairs, Cabinet members, and volunteers.
• Lead and develop employees through a values-based leadership approach.
