We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial operations of our team based in North America. As CFO, you will play a key role in shaping the financial strategy, driving profitable growth, and ensuring the company's financial health. You will partner with senior leadership to provide insights, recommendations, and operational direction. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the company's long-term financial strategy in alignment with business objectives
  • Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
  • Drive key business metrics, financial modeling, and scenario planning to support strategic decision-making

Financial Operations & Reporting:

  • Oversee all financial operations including accounting, treasury, FP&A, tax, and audit
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements in Canada and the US

Capital Management & Investor Relations:

  • Manage capital allocation, fundraising, and debt/equity financing strategies
  • Build and maintain relationships with investors, financial institutions, and other stakeholders
  • Serve as the key spokesperson to the investor community, providing financial guidance and updates

Business Partnering & Leadership:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Sales, Operations) to align financial goals with business initiatives
  • Provide data-driven financial insights and recommendations to the SLT and Board of Directors
  • Lead and develop the finance and accounting teams to achieve high performance and scalability
  • Identify, evaluate, and mitigate financial risks while ensuring appropriate controls and procedures
  • Oversee compliance with tax laws, corporate governance, and regulatory requirements
  • Implement financial systems and technology to improve efficiency and scalability

Requirements

  • Must be located in the GTA
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
  • 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a CFO or similar executive-level role in a SaaS or technology company
  • Proven experience with venture capital, private equity, or public company financing and reporting
  • Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic planning
  • In-depth knowledge of GAAP, and SaaS business models (MRR, ARR, LTV, CAC, etc.)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, balancing strategic vision with tactical execution
  • Experience with SaaS pricing strategies, subscription billing systems, and revenue recognition
  • Successful track record of leading companies through fundraising, mergers, or acquisitions
  • Familiarity with financial software tools (NetSuite, Adaptive Insights, Salesforce, etc.)
