Job Summary : The CFO will be responsible for providing strategic management of the accounting and finance functions, overseeing the financial operations of Des Nedhe Group, guiding its financial strategy, planning and maintaining its fiscal stability. This position is responsible for managing the company’s financial actions, overseeing financial planning, accounting and reporting while ensuring compliance with regulations. This position collaborates with management teams and the board of directors to establish short and long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies. The CFO is an integral part of the organization, overseeing the capital structure and optimal financing options for the company.

Scope of Responsibilities :

  • Work with business leaders and senior managers to efficiently develop budgets, provide access to project finance information, and ensure contract / grant compliance and reporting.
  • Identify and manage business risks, through analysis of company liabilities and investments, evaluate and manage capital structure and other initiatives.
  • Manage relationships with investors and investment institutions.
  • Research revenue opportunities and economic trends, analyze internal operations and identify areas for cost reduction and process enhancement.
  • Monitor businesses’ performance with tracking tools, establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports for management team and board of directors.
  • Manage finance personnel and oversee the enterprise systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory entities.
  • Take responsibility (either directly or via staff) for all cash management, investments, insurance, budgeting, and financial reporting, and help drive the company’s financial strategy and hiring needs.
  • Coordinate development of annual operating, capital, and organizational budgets, as well as reporting for the same.
  • Ensure cash flow is compatible with operations by overseeing (either directly or via staff) day-to-day accounting, recording, reporting, and internal-control activities of the organization.
  • Develop and implement the best practices and tools to ensure a well-controlled yet flexible organization that has strong fiscal management, project coordination, cross-team communications, and workflows.
  • Comply with national and local financial requirements by studying existing and new legislation and taking appropriate action.
  • Manage or oversee the relationship with independent auditors.
  • Oversee financial systems implementation and upgrades (either directly or via staff).
  • Other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field.
  • Professional accreditation such as Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), or Certified Management Accountant (CMA).

Skills & Experience :

  • Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
  • At least ten (10) years experience in accounting or finance, in a managerial role.
  • Experience in mergers and acquisitions and investor relations.
  • Extensive experience in senior financial managerial roles with proven track record of success.
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis, risk management and forecasting methods.
  • Proficient in use of MS Office and financial management software.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
