Job summary

Ottawa Network for Education seeks a President & CEO to lead the organization’s mission and operations, reporting to the Board of Directors. The role oversees finances, fundraising, programs, partnerships, communications, HR, and governance to advance student success and community impact.

The successful candidate will build and sustain strategic partnerships with school boards, government, and community partners, while promoting equity, inclusion, and high performance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in complex environments.
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategy across operations, finances, and programs.
• Fluency in English and French is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership for ONFE’s operations, finances, fundraising, programs, partnerships, communications, human resources, government relations and performance.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement while ensuring responsiveness to student and community needs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with education, government, community, philanthropic and business leaders to expand impact and ensure long‑term sustainability.
