Qualifications

10+ years of estimating experience in heavy civil construction.
Experience delivering estimates for large infrastructure projects.
Ability to lead estimating teams and develop professionals.
Strong communication with executives, operations teams, consultants, and subcontractors.
Knowledge of construction methodologies, risk management.

Responsibilities

Develop bid strategies balancing competitiveness with risk.
Lead preparation and review of estimates for large civil projects.
Oversee labour, equipment, materials, subcontractor, and indirect costs.
Collaborate with operations, engineering, procurement, and controls to shape pursuits.
Evaluate design options and select cost-effective construction solutions.
Review subcontractor pricing and strengthen industry relationships.
Support change management, cost forecasting, value engineering, and post-bid reviews.
Maintain historical cost databases and estimating best practices.
Drive continuous improvement of estimating systems and reporting.
Coach and develop a team of estimators.
