Job summary

FirstOntario Credit Union seeks a VP of Technology & Cloud Engineering to shape the technology roadmap, lead cloud-driven architecture, and drive reliability and security across global platforms. You will guide SRE, IaC practices, and cost-efficient implementations while partnering with executives to deliver business value.

The role requires deep expertise in cloud, security, governance, and large-scale project delivery, with flexible hours and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• The candidate has 10+ years leading infrastructure teams and shaping IT strategy.
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms, security by design, and compliance.
• Strong budgeting, stakeholder partnership, and cost optimization skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute technology roadmaps aligned to business goals.
• Oversee global cloud platforms, SRE, networks, and 24/7 availability.
• Lead infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring systems.
• Mentor teams and manage large IT budgets and vendor relations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (ISO27001, ITIL, etc.) and security.
