Job summary

Datatonic is seeking a Chief Solution Architect as the first hire in our new pre-sales function to shape, qualify, and win strategic data, AI, and agentic transformations for enterprise clients.

You will partner with the Account Manager and technical leadership to grow key accounts, run early discovery, define solutions, craft SOWs, and support RFP responses, while presenting to C-suite and architects.

Qualifications

• 7–12 years in data, analytics, ML, or cloud engineering with at least 3 years in a pre-sales or client-facing advisory role.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-based architectures (infrastructure, data architecture, governance) and Generative/Agentic AI concepts.
• Hands-on depth in GCP is ideal, but cross-skilled AWS/Azure SAs are acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Lead early discovery with Sales to understand business pain points and qualify opportunities.
• Architect data, ML, and GenAI solutions on Google Cloud.
• Own scoping, estimation, and writing of Statements of Work (SOW) and RFP responses in collaboration with Sales and Delivery.
• Present to C-suite and senior stakeholders, shaping deal strategy for opportunities >$1M.
