Job description

Our client is a well established organization with a long history in the city of Vancouver. This high profile organization is currently seeking a recently designated CPA to function as their hands-on Chief Accountant. This position will report directly to the President. The duties of the position will be broad in nature focusing on hands-on accounting and acting as a key financial resource to the management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for full cycle accounting, financial statement preparation, managing the accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, processing payroll and benefits administration, preparation of government remittances, various reconciliation (banks, loans etc), assisting with the year end audit process and the preparation of various reports for management. This would also be an excellent position for a person working in public practice and looking for their first position in industry.
