Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the dining service team
• Lead all dining service activities hands-on
• Prepare food
• Manage food inventory and supply budget
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and sanitation standards and adhere to Sunrise menu programs
• Hire, train, and schedule staff

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience as a managing chef or cook
• Sanitation certification and proficiency in nutrition and therapeutic diets
• Experience in managing and motivating dining service teams in a high-quality environment
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Computer skills in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new applications
• Availability to work weekends and flexible hours
