Qualifications

Job Description

As the Chef de Partie, you will support a team of culinary professionals in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. You will execute culinary programs that match our brand standards, ensure quality, and uphold high guest service standards while achieving financial goals.

Job duties:

  • Motivate employees to provide excellent service, foster communication, and team spirit.
  • Train staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Supervise First Cooks in food preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation.
  • Prepare and cook meals in the restaurant, banquets, or specialty foods such as pastries, sauces, soups, salads, vegetables, and meats.
  • Assist with new menu implementation and standardization.
  • Ensure food quality standards are met, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
  • Complete daily checklists, HACCP forms, and temperature logs.
  • Enforce health and hygiene standards and safety regulations.
  • Monitor portion control and waste.
  • Attend training courses as required.
  • Maintain high standards in food production, preparation, and presentation.
  • Follow procedures for food handling, storage, and sanitization; requisition supplies as needed.
  • Adhere to proper food preservation standards.
  • Work flexible shifts, including days, afternoons, or evenings.
  • Inspect and ensure the safe operation of kitchen equipment.
  • Assess production methods and communicate recommendations to the Sous Chef.

Requirements:

Working Conditions

This role may involve day, afternoon, or evening shifts, including weekends, with long hours during busy periods. It requires physical movement, lifting up to 30 lbs., and managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Temperature variations and independent work are also part of the job.
