Job summary

Hwy 17 Motel in Wawa, ON seeks a chef de cuisine to lead kitchen operations. Responsibilities include planning menus, supervising cooks, and ensuring high-quality meals for events and guests. Must have formal education or equivalent experience and 2–3 years in a similar role.

Responsibilities

  • Create new recipes.
  • Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets.

  • Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions.
