Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Chef to lead hands-on kitchen operations, ensure top-quality meals, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will work under Food Services operations, focusing on team development, culinary excellence, and adherence to health and safety standards.

You will drive menu execution, budgeting, and program implementation while maintaining a positive work environment and strong client satisfaction. The role emphasizes leadership, quality control, and cost optimization.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in a related role.
  • 2–3 years of post-secondary education or equivalent.
  • Culinary degree is considered an asset.
  • Advanced knowledge of food service principles and practices.
  • Hands-on experience in people and/or problem management.
  • Strong oral, reading, and written communication skills.

  • Supervise kitchen and service teams and foster teamwork.
  • Set up and organize workstations.
  • Prepare meals and respond to catering requests.
  • Ensure portion control and compliance with quality standards.

  • Maintain high-quality food services and customer satisfaction.
  • Optimize food and labor costs.
  • Implement management programs, health, hygiene and food safety standards.
  • Monitor service quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct monthly inventory and respond to operational needs.

Job description

We understand that the role of a Chef goes far beyond cooking. It requires leadership, discipline, passion, and a strong commitment to excellence. We are looking for a Chef who can deliver high-quality culinary experiences while providing exceptional customer service. Reporting to Food Services operations, you will take a hands-on approach, focusing on team development, culinary expertise, adherence to health and safety standards, and client satisfaction. You will also play a key role in achieving budgetary objectives and executing the company’s programs and standards.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Organize and manage the full meal production process
