Job summary

SEGULA Technologies is seeking a qualified engineer for a position based in the US, with eligibility for TN visa for Canadian citizens. You will lead the design, development, and release of structural chassis cradle components and assemblies, ensuring alignment with system objectives and on-time delivery.

You will collaborate with NVH, Vehicle Integration, Stress Lab, and CAE teams to support validation and performance, own DFMEA/CAE activities, maintain drawings, manage changes and EBOM CODEP,

• Collaborate with NVH, Vehicle Integration and CAE teams.
• Maintenance of model and drawing integrity according to engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and engineering release of structural chassis cradle components and assemblies.
• Manage end-to-end component and system delivery from concept through vehicle launch.
• Collaborate with NVH, Vehicle Integration, Stress Lab, and CAE teams to support validation and performance.
• Own component design activities including DFMEA, CAE analysis, and vehicle packaging.
• Maintain model and drawing integrity according to engineering standards.
• Oversee validation processes, including DVP&R planning and execution.
• Manage engineering changes and documentation including CNs and EBOM CODEP.
• Provide build and launch support for assembly and supplier plants.
• Drive issue resolution through structured problem-solving and tracking systems (GIMs).
• Develop and validate fastening strategies, including torque specs.

• Lead the design, development, and engineering release of structural chassis cradle components and assemblies, ensuring alignment with system-level functional objectives.
• Manage end-to-end component and system delivery, from initial concept through vehicle launch, ensuring adherence to program timelines.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams including NVH, Vehicle Integration, Stress Lab, and CAE to support validation, testing, and performance requirements.
• Own component design activities, including DFMEA, CAE analysis, and vehicle packaging to ensure robust and efficient designs.
• Maintain model and drawing integrity, ensuring accuracy and compliance with engineering standards.
• Oversee component validation processes, including development and execution of DVP&R plans.
• Manage engineering changes and documentation, including Change Notices (CN) and Engineering Bill of Materials (EBOM/CODEP).
• Provide build and launch support for assembly and supplier plants, ensuring smooth production ramp-up.
• Drive issue resolution through structured problem-solving and tracking systems (e.g., GIMs).
• Develop and validate fastening strategies, including fastener selection and assembly torque specifications.
