Job summary

Parkview Simcoe, a division of Student Transportation of Canada, is looking for a Charter Driver in Newmarket, Ontario. This role offers guaranteed hours and competitive pay, with a base of $22.05 per hour and comprehensive training.

You will transport clients safely, communicate with drivers and operations, complete charters, and perform pre- and post-trip checks. Flexible shifts including days, evenings, weekends and overnights help balance personal commitments while delivering reliable

Qualifications

• Valid B Driver’s license.
• Excellent driving skills, map reading ability, and knowledge of local attractions and venues.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service.
• Organized, punctual, reliable, and a team player with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport clients and provide exceptional customer service.
• Communicate effectively with other drivers, maintenance, operations, and the public.
• Complete assigned charters and manage related paperwork.
• Perform pre-and-post trip checks and maintain the cleanliness of the bus.
• Ensure compliance with Hours of Service and maintain radio contact using proper protocol.
• Assist with school runs as needed.

B-Class licensed driver candidates (not currently driving a publicly funded school route) are eligible for a $1,000 bonus! Receive $500 following three months of continuous employment and the remainder following 6 months of continuous employment.
