Job summary

Coach Canada is hiring professional Bus/Motorcoach Drivers to support scheduled line-run and charter operations. You will operate large motorcoaches, perform inspections, and ensure safe, courteous transport across routes and events.

The role requires a valid Ontario BZ licence with Z endorsement, a strong safety record, and at least 2 years of commercial driving experience. DOT/FMCSA compliance and cross-border readiness are essential.

• Fluent spoken and written English required for safe communication with passengers and dispatch.
• Customer service experience is an asset for passenger interactions and accessibility support.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, holidays, and variable shifts is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate motorcoaches up to 45 feet on scheduled routes and charter trips.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete logs and reports.
• Provide courteous, professional service and assist passengers with luggage and accessibility needs.
• Follow routes, schedules, and dispatch instructions; communicate with dispatch and operations teams.
• Comply with DOT/FMCSA requirements and safety policies; participate in testing programs as required.

Position Overview

Coach Canada is seeking professional and safety-focused Bus / Motorcoach Driver to support both scheduled line-run services and charter operations. This role is critical to delivering reliable transportation across fixed routes while also providing customized travel experiences for charter clients, including corporate groups, tours, and special events. Drivers serve as front-line ambassadors of the organization, ensuring every journey is safe, efficient, and aligned with our service standards.

Megabus & Charter Bus Operator | Qualifications

• Legally entitled to work in Canada
• Valid Ontario Class BZ licence with Z endorsement
• Clean driver’s abstract and strong safety record
• Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience (motorcoach preferred)
• Ability to obtain and maintain MTO medical clearance
• Valid passport and eligibility for U.S. cross-border travel
• Ability to meet DOT/FMCSA requirements
• Fluent spoken and written English required to ensure safe communication with passengers, dispatch, and emergency services
• Customer service experience an asset
• Compliance Requirements: This is a safety-sensitive position. All drivers are required to participate in and comply with applicable drug and alcohol testing programs, including pre-employment, random, post-incident, and reasonable cause testing as required under applicable regulations, including U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements for cross-border operations. Compliance with all testing protocols and reporting obligations is a condition of employment.
