Job summary

The Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA) seeks a self-motivated Regulatory Analyst in Regina for a one-year term to support charitable gaming policy review and compliance.

Based in the Gaming Integrity and Licensing Branch, you will provide analysis, develop options, and coordinate policy updates, manuals, and website content while collaborating with colleagues across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in public policy, law, public administration, business administration, commerce, or social sciences is required.
• Strong written communication skills are essential.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze issues, evaluate options, and implement actions.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide analysis and develop options for SLGA’s charitable gaming regulatory program.
• Advise the Director on regulatory, legislative, policy, and operational aspects of policies and procedures.
• Develop or write policies related to charitable gaming licenses and revenue use to ensure compliance.
• Prepare documents, reports, and analyses to support the red tape review process.
• Develop evaluation mechanisms to assess policy changes and impact.
• Create communications to explain policy changes to a broad audience.
