Job summary

Scarborough Health Network (SHN) is seeking a Charge Registered Technologist in Histology/Cytology for the Centenary Site. The role leads histology and cytology activities, guiding technical staff to ensure high-quality results and adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• Current CMLTO registration (Histology or Cytology)
• Advanced Registered Technologist, relevant bachelor’s degree or certificate program preferred
• Minimum five (5) years recent histology or cytology leadership experience and six (6) years overall histology experience
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams
• Experience participating in digital pathology implementation or transformation projects

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and coordinate activities related to Histology and Cytology
• Direct technical staff to ensure high quality performance and standards
• Manage staffing, scheduling, competency evaluation, workload and workflow in histopathology labs
