Job summary

Bellwether Transformations is expanding its North American Change Management practice, seeking experienced Change Management Leads and Change Enablement Consultants. You will blend strategic advisory work with hands-on delivery for ERP-enabled transformations, primarily SAP S/4 Hana, across manufacturing, distribution and retail sectors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Change Management experience supporting complex business or technology transformations.
• Hands-on SAP experience is required, with an understanding of how SAP implementations affect processes, roles and behaviors.
• Working knowledge of SAP Activate and Fit-to-Standard principles in SAP implementations.
• Experience developing and executing core change management activities: stakeholder engagement, organizational readiness, communications, adoption planning.
• Experience developing training and capability-building strategies; organization design is a plus.

We are looking for an experienced Change Management professionals with hands-on SAP transformation experience who are comfortable moving between strategic advisory work and hands-on delivery.

Our work is focused primarily on ERP-enabled transformation and digital change, with particular strength in SAP S/4 Hana as it applies in manufacturing, distribution and retail. We also work across a broader range of technology and sectors, including consumer packaged goods, financial services and other complex organizations undergoing significant business and technology transformation.

As our North American practice continues to grow, we are interested in meeting experienced Change Management Leads and Change Enablement Consultants who can strengthen our network and build long-term relationships with Bellwether Transformations.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The ERP Change Management Leads and Consultants apply apply our best-practice Change Management approach to develop and execute a comprehensive change management plan that incorporates activities to change employee skills, tasks and behaviours to optimize the change, including:

• Assess organizational impacts, stakeholder needs and readiness for change resulting from process, system and role changes.
• Activate and support leaders to visibly sponsor and take ownership of the change.
• Align new SAP-enabled processes and ways of working with organizational structures, roles and responsibilities.
• Engage employees and managers in the change and help them understand how their work will change in the future-state environment.
• Partner with functional, process and training teams to translate changes into practical employee impacts, learning needs and adoption activities.
• Apply an understanding of SAP Activate, Fit-to-Standard principles and key implementation milestones to align change activities with the broader SAP program and support adoption of standard SAP processes.
• Support the development of employee capability through effective training and learning strategies
• Develop and contribute to change communications, training, knowledge transfer and adoption activities using practical, creative approaches that drive impact and organizational readiness for the change

YOU

You’re comfortable contracting with an established boutique firm and look forward to furthering your successful track record of delivering superior results for clients. In addition, you:

• 5+ years of Change Management experience supporting complex business or technology transformations, ideally including multiple ERP implementations.
• Hands-on SAP experience is required, with a strong understanding of how SAP implementations affect business processes, roles, behaviours and ways of working.
• Working knowledge of SAP Activate, Fit-to-Standard principles and the major phases and milestones of an SAP implementation.
• Experience developing and executing core change management activities such as stakeholder engagement, change impact assessment, organizational readiness, leadership alignment, communications and adoption planning.
• Experience developing or contributing to training and capability-building strategies; experience with organization design in the context of technology transformation is an asset.
• Ability to work effectively with business process owners, SAP functional teams, project leadership and training teams to translate system and process changes into practical people impacts.
• Experience working directly with senior leaders and managers to build ownership, alignment and visible sponsorship for change.
• Ability to anticipate emerging people and adoption risks, identify practical solutions and bring leaders and project teams together around a path forward.
• Strong consulting skills, including the ability to quickly understand a client environment, ask the right questions, identify risks and provide pragmatic recommendations.
• Strong team leadership and project management skills, with a track record of delivering high-quality change activities and work products on time.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear, client-ready deliverables and facilitate effective conversations across different levels of an organization.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-facing consulting environment and managing multiple priorities with a high degree of independence.
• Flexible, pragmatic and equally comfortable moving between strategic advisory work and hands-on delivery.
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, retail.
• Comfortable working as an independent contractor with an established boutique consulting firm and committed to delivering a high standard of client service.
