Job summary

Morningstar Air Express seeks a Captain for the Cessna Caravan 208 based in Winnipeg to lead cargo flights within a safety-first culture. You will conduct thorough pre-flight planning, performance calculations, and post-flight duties while coordinating with dispatch and maintenance to ensure secure, timely cargo movements.

The role requires 1,500 hours total time (or 1,200 with 300 on C208), a valid Canadian ATPL or CPL with IFR, and TC Category 1 Medical.

Qualifications

• 1,500 hours total time; or 1,200 hours total with 300 hours on C208.
• Valid Canadian ATPL; or CPL with current IFR (Group 1 or Group 3).
• Transport Canada Category 1 Medical.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a RAIC and travel to the USA.
• Passport and ability to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Captain on the Cessna Caravan 208 based in Winnipeg.
• Operate safely according to SOPs and Canadian Aviation Regulations.
• Perform pre-flight planning, performance calculations, and post-flight duties.
• Coordinate with dispatch, ground teams, and maintenance to ensure on-time cargo movements.
• Maintain a strong safety culture across all operations.
