Job summary

PSIA-AASI Western Region is hiring certified ski/snowboard instructors for the Whistler area for the 2026/27 winter season. Positions are seasonal full-time with 30–40 hours weekly, starting around November 25, 2026 and ending approximately April 10, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Supervise groups on Whistler/Blackcomb Mountain including instructional skiing and safety tasks.
• Lead guests into advanced terrain and help develop skiers/riders to reach next level goals.
• Attend mandatory trainings and ensure safety guidelines are followed.

Job Summary

As a highly certified Professional Instructor you will deliver high quality ski/snowboard instruction to groups and individuals, providing world class guest service in a safe and fun learning environment.

Job Specifications

• Starting Wage: $27.00/hr - $37.00/hr depending on certification and experience.
• Pay range reflects minimum base wages; instructors may have opportunities to earn more with additional teaching incentives

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise a group of children, adults or families for the day on Whistler or Blackcomb Mountain, in a variety of activities including instructional skiing, skier safety, lunch, special events and to accept all duties as assigned by the Program Supervisor.
• Lead guests into a variety of advanced terrain
• Develop advance skiers and riders to reach their next level goals
• Work with advanced season long programs, and athlete development
• Lead sessions, and Instructor development programs
• Follow the guidelines and safety rules as outline in our Safety Manual
• Be responsible for your safety and the safety of the guests
• Act as the prudent parent in the absence of the child’s parent
• Attend all mandatory training sessions
• Be familiar with all Snow School programs, prices and lesson times
• We are a company that works together and throughout the season you may be required to assist in other departments as needed

Job Requirements

• Minimum Level 3 CSIA, PSIC, CASI, CADS or foreign equivalent is essential
• Certified Course Conductor is an asset
• English language fluency; fluency in multiple languages is an asset
• Experience Working With Children And Families Is Essential.
• Experience teaching advanced lessons (minimum 1-2 years of related experience)
• Patience and ability to have lots of fun
• Good verbal and written communication skills
