Job summary

Sysco Canada Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented sales administrative professional in Vancouver. The role provides essential support to the VP of Local Sales and Directors, coordinating reporting and assisting with marketing and events.

You will champion sales tools, manage bid processes, and handle IT form submissions. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in sales admin, exceptional communication, and a Red Seal Chef certification.

Qualifications

• Certified Red Seal Chef.
• 1–2 years' experience in a sales admin and support role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• AS400 knowledge is an asset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service orientation with the ability to gain rapport with internal and external customers.
• Proactive, self-directed, with the ability to structure a weekly schedule to be successful.

Responsibilities

• Provide key administrative support to the VP of Local Sales, Director of Street Sales, and Director of Local Contract & Bid Sales.
• Prepare and manage weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting for local sales department.
• Support the marketing department and Business Resources Team with administrative and event planning assistance.
• Sales technology Champion - educate and participate in training sales force.
• Bid management assistance.
• IT Form submissions.
• Complies with Sysco's Food Safety Policy and procedures.
• Willing to work safely with minimal environmental impact and report hazards, incidents, and spills to Supervisor.
• Play an integral role in personal and colleagues' safety and speak up when hazards are present.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
