Job summary

Magna International Limited currently seeks a skilled Maintenance Millwright to install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery within our facility in Canada. The role emphasizes troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and ensuring production efficiency, with safe work practices and adherence to quality standards.

Qualified candidates hold a Red Seal Millwright license, have at least five years of relevant experience, and possess a secondary school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid Industrial Mechanic Millwright - Red Seal license.
• Minimum 5 years experience in maintenance of industrial machinery.
• Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all production equipment to ensure quality parts are produced and install new equipment as required.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose system faults, tune equipment, ensure safety measures are in place.
• Complete required reports daily or as needed.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Assist in inventory, process requisitions for purchasing.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) as distributed.
• Work weekends/overtime as required and rotate shifts if needed.
• Follow standardized work instructions and protect company tools and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with Customer Specific Requirements, QMS (IATF16949), Health and Safety (ISO 45001), EMS (ISO14001).
• Participate in continuous improvement and training to maintain job knowledge.
