Job summary

Interfor is seeking a Certified Millwright to join our Adams Lake team in British Columbia. This graveyard shift role offers a starting rate of $51.245 per hour, with relocation considered for those near Adams Lake.

Applicants should reside in or relocate to the Adams/Shuswap Lakes area; this is not a camp or remote position. Key duties include preventive and breakdown maintenance of sawmill, planer, and kiln hot oil systems; fabricating and installing equipment from blueprints; and partnering

• Red Seal certification required or equivalent.
• Strong safety background and adherence to safety rules.
• Ability to work well in a team with clear communication.
• Take responsibility for quality and timeliness of tasks.
• PAT may be required prior to offer.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, repair, and breakdown maintenance on sawmill equipment.
• Fabricate, construct, and install equipment using blueprints and diagrams.
• Troubleshoot and improve machine reliability and uptime.
• Work across days, afternoons, graveyard, or weekends as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Interfor is seeking energetic and enthusiastic team players to join our team as a Certified Millwright in Adams Lake. Starting rate for this position is $51.245 per hour.

Applicants should live in or be willing to relocate to the Adams/Shuswap Lakes area. This is not a camp or remote work facility. This is a Graveyard shift position.

What You’ll Do

• Work in a safe and efficient manner while following all safety rules and regulations.


• Preventive maintenance, repair and breakdown maintenance of sawmill, planer and kiln hot oil system equipment.


• Fabricate, construct, and install equipment and machinery with the use of blueprints and diagrams.


• Solve problems and work as part of a team focused on machine reliability and breakdown prevention.


• Available to work days, afternoon, graveyard, or weekend shifts.
