Job summary

ABL Employment.com is seeking certified millwrights in Orillia for direct-hire positions. You will be on our client’s payroll from day one, working full-time on continental shifts with competitive pay rates. Essential responsibilities include machine repairs, routine inspections, and troubleshooting.

The ideal candidate will possess a Red Seal Millwright License and at least 5 years of relevant experience. Benefits include health and dental coverage, along with a cell phone allowance.

Qualifications

• Red Seal Millwright License required.
• At least 5 years of hands-on repair and maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Technical skills in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, adjustments, and repairs on production equipment.
• Install, dismantle, and overhaul machinery.
• Analyze mechanical problems and troubleshoot errors.
• Conduct preventative maintenance.
• Operate machine tools and hand tools.

Skills

Technical skills with experience working on mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems

Strong knowledge of preventative/predictive maintenance schedules

Red Seal Millwright License

5+ years with hands on repair and maintenance of machinery in high volume manufacturing environment

Job description

Shift Options

• Continental shift, straight days (7am-7pm)
• Continental shift, straight nights (7pm-7am)

Pay Rate

• $35/hour
• $0.65/hour shift premium for nights

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, adjustments and repairs on production and facilities equipment
• Install, dismantle and overhaul machinery
• Analyze mechanical problems and troubleshoot errors and breakdowns
• Perform inspections, PMs and correct issues through workorder program in a timely manner
• Operate machine tools including lathes, drills, grinders, saws, hand tools etc

Qualifications

• Red Seal Millwright License
• 5+ years with hands on repair and maintenance of machinery in high volume manufacturing environment
• Technical skills with experience working on mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems
• Strong knowledge of preventative/predictive maintenance schedules
• PLC knowledge and experience considered an asset
• Proven ability to lead a task or project as well as take direction from others
