Join our dynamic team as a Certified Electrician and be part of our innovative, fast-paced environment. You will primarily work with the maintenance team while providing backup support to our production team, assisting with the electrical aspects of our advanced machinery. Our facility features a wide variety of electrical infrastructure and equipment, with most preventive and breakdown maintenance performed in-house.

Our facility operates 24/7. Successful candidates must be available for all shifts, including weekends and night shifts.

Job Responsibilities:

• Problem-solve, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to automation, control, and electrical systems, or provide detailed information to expedite repairs
• Test, calibrate, commission, replace, or upgrade electrical devices and components
• Support operations in identifying and correcting defects and problems
• Handle troubleshooting and switching of distribution devices from 480V to 2300V
• Cross-train to assemble and wire machines and controls to assist with production as needed
• Perform all work in accordance with safety procedures and quality standards
• Contribute to our continuous improvement culture
• Work effectively within a team environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Red Seal Journeyman Electrician certification
• Technical diploma or certificate in Electrical and/or Electronics (asset)
• 3-5 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician
• Ability to read and write PLC logic
• Experience with Robotics, VFD, and HMI systems
• Training in Arc flash, Fall Protection, and Aerial Work Platforms
• Availability for all shifts, including weekends and nights

Compensation:

• Base pay rate of $48.66/hour
