Job summary

Appletree Dental for Kids in Stoney Creek, Ontario, is seeking a passionate Certified Dental Assistant Level II (CDA II) for a full-time role. You will prepare treatment rooms and instruments, support the Dentist, and contribute to a pediatric team focused on excellent patient care.

Ideal candidates have CDA II certification, Ontario registration or in-process, and at least one year of experience. New grads are welcome, with opportunities to grow in pediatric dentistry and sedation support.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Certified/Registered Dental Assisting Level II.
• Registered or in process of registering with the Ontario Dental Assistant Association.
• Open to those licensed in other Canadian province(s).
• 1 year of experience preferred; new grads welcome.
• Experience with dental practice management software such as Open Dental is an asset.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding treatment assistance and prepare the treatment room and instruments for patient arrival.
• Support the Dentist during procedures in a pediatric setting.
• Collaborate with a pediatric dental team in a fast-paced environment to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Assist with practice management software and patient communications as needed.

The team at Appletree Dental for Kids located inStoney Creek , Ontario is looking for a passionate, hard-working Certified Dental Assistant Level 2 (CDA II) on a full-time basis.

The ideal CDA for our practice values playing their part for the team, to equip the Dentist through providing outstanding treatment assistance and preparing the treatment room and dental equipment/instruments for patient arrival.
