Job summary

Appletree Dental for Kids in Stoney Creek, Ontario, is seeking a passionate Certified Dental Assistant Level II (CDA II) on a full-time basis. The role involves preparing treatment rooms, assisting the dentist, and delivering high-quality patient care in a pediatric setting.

Ideal candidates have CDA II certification, registration with the Ontario Dental Assistant Association (or in process), and a year of experience. Open Dental experience is a plus; new grads are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Certified/Registered Dental Assisting Level II.
• Registered or in process of registering with the Ontario Dental Assistant Association.
• 1 year of experience preferred; new grads welcome.
• Experience with Open Dental is considered an asset.
• Excellent communication with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment assistance and prepare the treatment room and dental equipment/instruments for patient arrival.
• Assist the Dentist during pediatric dentistry, sedation, and surgical procedures as needed.
• Support a fast-paced team environment and ensure smooth daily operations.
