Qualicare Edmonton East is seeking Health Care Aides to support clients in Sherwood Park and surrounding East Edmonton communities. This casual part-time role offers flexible hours and the chance to become part of a caring home-care team dedicated to improving clients' lives.

You'll provide personal care, meal assistance, medication support, and companionship, while following care plans and documenting care. Training and development opportunities help you grow with the company.

Qualifications

• Health Care Aide Certificate, OR a foreign-trained nursing degree, OR be a current nursing student.
• Alberta HCA Directory registration (or ability to register).
• CPR and First Aid certificate (or willingness to get it).
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray.
• Valid driver's license and reliable car.
• A kind heart and a desire to help others.

Responsabilités

• Helping with personal care like bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Preparing meals and helping with light cleaning.
• Assisting with medication administration.
• Accompaniment on errands or on appointments.
• Providing friendly companionship and conversation.
• Supporting clients as they move around safely.
• Following a care plan and documenting care.
