Job summary

Ontario Agencies Supporting Individuals with Special Needs (OASIS) seeks a Chief Executive Officer to provide strategic and operational leadership, guiding the organization through its growth with a focus on advocacy and stakeholder engagement.

The CEO will report to the Board and lead a remote team, advancing development and policy priorities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in the nonprofit, public, broader public, association, or related sector.
• Strategic, operational, and financial acumen, with the judgment to navigate complex environments.
• Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships and influence diverse stakeholders.
• Experience working with and reporting to a volunteer Board.
• Political acuity, diplomacy, sound judgment, and strong communication and consensus-building skills.
• A genuine commitment to the developmental services sector, inclusion, equity, and quality of life for people with developmental disabilities.
