Qualified candidates hold a Stationary Engineman MMF class 4 B and possess strong troubleshooting, instrumentation reading, and preventive maintenance skills to ensure reliable facility performance.

Qualifications

• Must have Stationary Engineman certification (MMF class 4 B).
• Extensive knowledge of heating/cooling plant equipment including boilers, chillers and generators.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot plant systems; read instruments and reports.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and repairs in large thermal plants.
• Familiarity with safety, environmental and occupational health standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate plant equipment and systems on day or rotating shifts.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on plant equipment.
• Update shift logs and report operational issues to management.
• Conduct tests of diesel generators and water chemistry; adjust chemicals as needed.
• Investigate safety incidents and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Assist in procurement of parts and coordinate with tradespersons.
