Job summary

Banff Caribou Properties in Banff is seeking a practical, hands-on maintenance professional to join our Central Maintenance team, caring for commercial buildings and a laundry facility.

You will perform routine and preventative maintenance, troubleshoot plumbing and electrical issues, and support a safe, efficient operation while building strong relationships with stakeholders and contributing to a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance approach with mechanical aptitude.
• Experience in building maintenance and plumbing.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated and able to learn independently.
• Ability to work independently with good judgment.
• Friendly, professional and service-focused attitude.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s licence or eligible to convert.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine and preventative maintenance across our buildings and facilities.
• Troubleshoot and complete minor repairs involving plumbing, electrical systems, appliances and general building maintenance.
• Help keep our commercial laundry facility running safely and efficiently.
• Build strong, respectful working relationships with stakeholders and provide a high level of service.
• Participate in a shared on-call schedule.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and report hazards or injuries promptly.
• Support the wider operations team with additional tasks as needed.

Our Central Maintenance team looks after our commercial buildings and commercial laundry facility, helping keep these spaces safe, functional and operating at their best. This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys variety, solving problems and taking pride in getting the job done right.

What you’ll bring
