Job summary

Qualifications

Valid Class 1 Driver's licence is required.
High school diploma is an asset.
Safe driving skills; driver’s abstract will be requested.
Physically fit – heavy lifting required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong leadership and managerial abilities.
Skilled in problem-solving techniques.

Responsibilities

Operate semitrailers and tractors on customer locations and during travel.
Ensure safety priority in all activities and maintenance.
Participate in incident investigations.
Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and complete forms.
Attend pre-job safety meetings on location.
Inspect and configure equipment for travel and operation.
Rig-out and disassemble equipment for transport.
Maintain units and auxiliary equipment.
Consult with supervisor and crew on operational issues.
