Trican, Canada’s leading pressure pumping company, seeks a Cement Twin Operator for our Whitecourt location. You will be responsible for safe operation of pumping equipment on customer sites, performing inspections, and maintaining documentation while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards.

Competenze

• Valid Class 1, 3 or 5 licence required.
• High school diploma is an asset.
• Physically fit – capable of heavy lifting.

Mansioni

• Operate cement twin pump equipment safely on customer locations.
• Drive truck mounted pumping and bulk hauling equipment between locations under supervision.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and accurately complete driver logs.
• Keep unit binders up to date with permits, regulatory paperwork, inspections and maintenance documentation.
• Rig-up treating iron, manifolds and recording equipment; rig-out for travel between sites.
• Perform maintenance on pumping units and auxiliary equipment.

CEMENT TWIN OPERATOR – WHITECOURT

The Cement Twin Operator is responsible for the safe operation of equipment on customer location, and while in station.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that Trican’s core value, "Safe equipment and operations" is the priority in all activities
• Ensure adherence to Workplace Safety, Environmental, National Safety Code, Trican Well Service Ltd, government, as well as client policies and regulations
• Drive truck mounted pumping and bulk hauling equipment between locations safely and efficiently while under qualified supervision
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections by accurately completing corresponding driver log forms while remaining in accordance with Trican inspection procedures
• Keep unit binders up to date including all permits, government regulatory paperwork, iron inspections, and maintenance documentation
• Rig-up treating iron, manifolds and recording equipment
• Rig-out of all equipment for travel and conduct movement to following site
• Perform maintenance operations to pumping units and auxiliary equipment

Experience & Skills:

• Valid Class 1, 3 or 5 licence required
• High school diploma is an asset
• Safe driving skills; driver’s abstract will be requested
• Physically fit – heavy lifting required
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong leadership and managerial skills
• Skilled in problem-solving techniques

Working Conditions:

• 15 days on/6 days off
• On call 24-hours during shift
• Must live near base of employment
• Pre-employment medical testing required
• Working in all weather conditions
