Job summary

Birch Mountain Enterprises is seeking experienced Class 3 Operators for a temporary, approximately 6-month assignment at the Cenovus site near Fort McMurray. Operators will run Combo Vac units and perform tank cleaning, with camp accommodations and paid flights from Edmonton or Calgary.

The position follows a 14/14 rotation schedule (days and nights) and offers competitive wages. Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, physically fit, and safety‑minded, with preference for those who have

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3 driver's license with clean abstract.
• Minimum 3 years manual transmission experience (up to 18 speed).
• Previous Combo Vac operation experience.
• Confined Space Entry ticket.
• OSSA (or BSO/CSO) and CSTS certification.
• TDG, WHMIS, H2S Alive, Daily Trip Inspections, Provincial Hours of Service for Alberta, Weights and Dimensions, Cargo Securement for flatbeds.
• Physically able to work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to pass BME driver’s evaluation, drug and alcohol, and fit for duty pre-employment screening.
