Job summary

School District No. 91 (Nechako Lakes) is seeking casual bus drivers to support student transportation in the Fraser Lake area.

This casual position has no guaranteed hours and involves operating buses on regular routes and transporting students on curricular and extra-curricular trips. The successful candidate will perform daily inspections and safety checks, maintain positive communication with students, parents, and staff, and uphold district safety procedures, including WHMIS 2015 and

Qualifications

• Completion of Grade 12 (Dogwood Certificate) is required.
• BC Class 2 Driver’s License with air brake endorsement and a clean driving record.
• First Aid Certificate and CPR training are required.
• WHMIS 2015 Certificate and familiarity with WorkSafeBC safety procedures.
• Defensive driving training or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 6 months of successful experience operating Class 2 or higher vehicles in all seasons.
