Job summary

School District No. 91 (Nechako Lakes) in Fort St. James is seeking applications for casual Bus Drivers to support student transportation.

This casual position has no guaranteed hours. The successful candidate will operate school buses on regular routes, transport students for curricular and extra-curricular trips, and perform daily inspections while maintaining positive communication with students, parents, and staff.

Qualifications

• Completion of Grade 12 (Dogwood Certificate).
• Valid BC Class 2 Driver’s License with air brake endorsement and a clean driving record.
• Valid First Aid Certificate and CPR training.
• WHMIS 2015 Certificate and familiarity with WorkSafeBC safety procedures.
• Defensive driving training or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 6 months of successful experience operating Class 2 or higher vehicles in all seasons.
